Muerte en una tarde de verano is a concept album and the second full-length release by Peruvian pianist and composer Sergio Díaz De Rojas. It has been visually depicted by filmmaker and photographer Tiago Almança in collaboration with visual artist Miriam Serrano in Barcelona, Spain, during the summer of 2022.

Sergio performs Viaje a Cusco, recorded and shot in The Pool (Düsseldorf, Germany) on the 1st of April 2023 in celebration of Piano Day. This piece was originally released by London-based record label Bigo & Twigetti in 2021.

This piece is a reminder of the adventures that Sergio have experienced with his partner along the years: the cassette they released together back in 2017 when they first met, the postcards they collected during their trips around Spain, Germany, Austria and Hungary, various small objects they encountered in diverse flea markets, museums and antique stores, and other meaningful items that evoke their precious memories together.

In a contemplative exploration on solitude, Sergio Díaz De Rojas has delved into a nostalgic state of mind after moving from Peru to Spain, leaving friends and family behind for a new chapter of his life. Various late nights by the piano led to the creation of a softly sorrowful tribute to one of his favourite composers, Fryderyk Chopin.
